Considering a fresh start? Want to see what other political opportunities are out there for a young politico? We’ll you’ve come to the right place to begin the hunt!

One of the top cities Majority Hunter recommends if you’re looking to hit the restart button on your career is Denver, Colorado! With so much to see and do, we narrowed it down to some of the must-see attractions and destinations for every Denver newcomer.

For the Nature Lover: Denver Botanic Gardens

Denver Botanic Gardens is a public botanical garden in Denver. It’s a 23-acre park that not only features beautiful plants but some wildlife as well. The tickets are very affordable so you can wander around at your leisure and enjoy nature without breaking the bank. Sounds like the perfect way to enjoy a relaxing afternoon!

For the Outdoors Lover: The Sleepy Lion Trail

Colorado is chock-full of amazing scenery, mountains, and trails to enjoy. The Sleepy Lion Trail is considered a hidden gem located in a charming town right outside of Denver. It’s one of the best trails to go on if you’re trying to avoid a bunch of tourists and simply enjoy solitude. However, you might run into some bighorn sheep and elk!

For the Art Lover: Denver Art Museum

The Denver Art Museum is located in the Civic Center in the heart of Denver. This museum is one of the largest art exhibits in the nation, featuring over 70,000 pieces of art. They’re mostly known for their amazing collection of American Indian art, but they feature diverse artwork from all over the world as well. And if you’re 18 years old or younger, you get in free.

For the Nightlife Lover: Union Station

Union Station is one of the must-see tourist locations in Denver. If you want to visit a 100-year old historic landmark while also enjoying some of the best food and drinks in Colorado, this is your spot. You’re not going to find more top local eateries and bars in one area, so this is an amazing place for foodies and nightlife lovers alike.

For the Music Lover: Red Rocks Amphitheater

Red Rocks Amphitheater is a breathtaking music venue that people all over the world have on their bucket list, and it’s located only 10 miles outside of Denver. It’s a National Historic Landmark that has hosted some of the most well-known musical legends, including the Beatles and Rolling Stones. Needless to say, you have to catch a show there if you can!
